- Acceptance of these Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern the use of VoltOS after their publication and the implementation of the applicable acceptance mechanism.
A person who does not agree with these Terms of Use must not use the Service.
Where a user acts on behalf of a commercial company or another organisation, the user must be duly authorised to act on its behalf and to use the organisational functions made available to the relevant account.
- Eligibility requirements
VoltOS is intended only for persons who are at least 18 years old.
Children and persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to create or maintain a VoltOS account.
Users must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
Users are responsible for protecting their password and access to their device and must not share:
passwords;
password-reset digital codes;
access digital codes;
access-refresh digital codes;
application programming interface keys;
credentials for external providers.
- Accounts and organisations
VoltOS supports personal or residential accounts and business accounts for organisations.
An account may create an organisation and may belong to organisations through existing membership records and assigned roles.
Organisation owners and authorised members are responsible for:
having the right to add and manage the relevant sites and meters;
acting only within their assigned role and permissions;
the lawfulness and accuracy of the submitted meter identifiers, readings, tariff information, files and related data.
General functions for inviting members, managing roles and removing members are not currently publicly available functions in the application.
Certain organisation data may be shared with other authorised members of the same organisation.
A user must not access or attempt to access another organisation without authorisation.
- Service functions
Depending on the current version and configuration, VoltOS may provide:
registration, sign-in, session management and password recovery;
creation and viewing of an organisation;
creation and viewing of sites and meters;
manual entry of cumulative readings;
calculation of intervals with an estimated value where a preceding reading and one applicable tariff are available;
optical character recognition-assisted extraction of a proposed value from a JPEG or PNG image;
validation, preview, explicit confirmation and import of comma-separated values files;
estimated tariff-based values where one unambiguously applicable tariff is available;
history, dashboards, summaries and estimated costs based on the available energy data;
provider-neutral storage of consent records in the server-side system;
consent operations in the n3rgy testing environment, without a mobile provider-connection process and without an enabled production provider;
account deletion.
Feature availability may depend on:
the selected site;
the meter;
the energy market;
the available data;
access permissions;
tariff configuration;
the application version.
General editing or deletion management is not available for every organisation, site, meter, reading or related record.
- Readings, optical character recognition, data files, tariffs and estimates
Users remain responsible for reviewing information before relying on it.
In particular:
users must enter cumulative readings in chronological order and select the correct meter, measurement unit and time;
submitted manual readings are added sequentially and generally cannot be edited or removed through the current Service;
an optical character recognition result is an assistive proposal and may be incomplete or inaccurate;
before confirming an optical character recognition result, the user must independently verify the meter, the complete value, decimal separator, time, confidence information and warnings;
an optical character recognition proposal is not saved as a reading without explicit confirmation by the user during the add-reading process;
the user must have the right to upload the relevant data contained in a comma-separated values file;
the user must verify the times, time zone, measurement units, intervals, readings, tariff result and currency before confirming an import;
tariff-based calculated values depend on the configured price, currency, scope, validity period, consumption data and the availability of one unambiguously applicable tariff;
the calculation of energy intervals and estimated costs requires the necessary preceding reading and an applicable tariff;
meters, readings and calculated costs marked as test or demonstration data contain generated example data and must not be treated as real measurements or costs;
dashboards and summaries depend on the readings and intervals available in the Service.
Readings, optical character recognition results, consumption intervals, tariff calculations, estimated costs, dashboards and summaries in VoltOS are informational tools.
They are not:
bills;
invoices;
certified meter data;
energy settlement data;
guaranteed measurements.
They do not replace official data provided by:
a meter;
an energy supplier;
a distribution system operator;
a centralised information system;
a regulator;
a billing system.
Users should compare material information with the applicable official source before submitting or using it.
The Service does not provide editing or removal for every previously submitted record.
- External energy-data providers and consent
There is currently no enabled external energy-data provider retrieving or processing real production data belonging to VoltOS users.
The only implemented external adapter is restricted to n3rgy testing endpoints and is used only for staging and testing with test identifiers.
No live-provider endpoint has been implemented.
Where an external provider is enabled in the future:
connection may require the user’s explicit consent or separate authorisation with the provider;
availability, supported markets, identifiers, intervals, historical data and withdrawal options may vary;
VoltOS will not treat the interface language as a provider or energy-market selection;
the relevant provider’s terms and privacy information may apply;
the Privacy Policy and these Terms of Use will be updated where necessary before activation for real production use.
Where a production provider is enabled in the future, users should compare provider-derived data with the provider’s official records or with the applicable official energy source.
Withdrawal of consent may stop future retrieval of data where this is supported.
The processing of previously retrieved data will be governed by the Privacy Policy, the provider arrangement and applicable law.
- Acceptable use
A user must not:
use VoltOS unlawfully, fraudulently or in violation of the rights of another person;
submit data, files, images, meter identifiers or credentials that the user has no right to use;
access or attempt to access another user’s or organisation’s account, data, meter or provider connection;
bypass authentication, organisation isolation, consent, file validation, request limits, security measures or other technical controls;
upload malicious code;
use the Service to distribute malware, unsolicited messages, fraudulent messages or unlawful content;
probe, scan, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or otherwise interfere with the Service, except where mandatory law expressly permits this;
present estimated values or VoltOS readings as official utility or billing data;
use automated means in a manner that harms the Service or other users.
- Availability and changes to the Service
VoltOS may require technical maintenance, security updates or operational changes. The Service may therefore be temporarily unavailable.
Continuous availability of the Service is not guaranteed.
Individual functions may be:
changed;
temporarily suspended;
replaced;
removed;
restricted for technical, legal or operational reasons.
- Fees and paid functions
As of the publication date of these Terms of Use, VoltOS has not established:
subscription prices;
billing periods;
a payment provider;
refund rules;
paid-plan entitlements.
Before a paid function or subscription is offered, these Terms of Use will be updated with the applicable commercial terms.
- Restriction, suspension and termination
Accounts marked as inactive cannot authenticate or access protected Service functions.
Access to the Service may be restricted where necessary to:
protect security;
prevent misuse;
comply with a legal obligation;
protect other users;
prevent unauthorised access;
resolve a material technical problem.
Where applicable and lawful, the user will be informed of the reason for the restriction.
- Account deletion
An authenticated user may request irreversible account deletion through the available VoltOS deletion process.
The user must confirm the current password and the irreversible action.
Where the deleting user is the sole member and owner of an organisation created by that user, the following are deleted:
the organisation;
its dependent sites;
meters;
readings;
tariffs;
consent records.
Shared organisations and their data are retained for the remaining authorised members.
Where the deleting user created a shared organisation, creator responsibility may be transferred only to an existing owner.
Deletion is blocked where the required ownership conditions are not satisfied.
Deletion may also be blocked where withdrawal of active provider consent for an organisation scheduled for deletion is unsuccessful.
Retention and deletion periods are described in the VoltOS Privacy Policy.
The user may also contact:
dev@iviprodevelopment.com
regarding account deletion.

By submitting data relating to an:
account;
